In the juniors, we have multiple music teachers who assist pupils in learning specific instruments. Our music teachers travel from various places to teach us how to play flute, trumpet, saxaphone and clarinet. To learn one of these instruments, a charge will be made by the school.

If our pupils have these lessons, they are responsible for looking after their own instrument. They also have to bring the equipment in on time as they take their instruments home each week to practice their skills.

Our school is very proud of its music. Mrs Sandland, our Deputy Head, is the school music specialist. She is responsible for the teaching of music, including singing and playing recorders. She often helps us to learn new songs and we regularly participate in church services.

We love to welcome visitors to our school. Often these help to strengthen our understanding of our IPC work. We have had the Rainforest Roadshow and a Circus group come into help us in recent times.

Other groups, such as the Jungle Bungle show help us to think about literacy and about how to get along with others and consider our similarities and differences.

We often have visitors in assembly. These are always very welcome and help us to think about important subjects such as Road Safety, Myton Hospice, Dr Barnados and other charity efforts.

Sometimes vicars come into assembly. They present bible stories in fun and interesting ways.
